STCs are responsible for managing students by:
adding new students
removing students who will no longer take the assessment
verifying and updating student demographics
assigning them to the correct Teacher and Testing group
Repeat Users: If your school previously used ASLA, last year’s student roster and demographic information will be copied into this year's assessment. Even if the information is pre-filled, STCs will still need to review and manage students.
New to ASLA: For new schools, your student roster will start blank. One or more assigned STC(s) will need to add students and enter their demographic information.
To add a new Student, click Add New Student
To edit, click the pencil icon on the row next to the student you want to update
To delete a student, click the red flag icon. A confirmation window will appear asking if you want to delete the student. Click “ OK “ to confirm.

After the STC enters the students' demographic information, the system automatically assigns each student a username and Student ID -- neither of these can be changed. When students log in on the day of the assessment, they will use their numeric ID as the password.
Students will be assigned a username based on the first letter of their name, full last name, and an ID that acts as a password. The username may not be changed; it is generated and may have numbers at the end to ensure uniqueness.
Student usernames and passwords are always available to view on the Proctor Dashboard.
