STCs are responsible for inviting other STC(s) and Proctor(s) to access the ASLA Portal and manage their roles.
The portal has two roles: School Test Coordinator (STC) and Proctors. Each role has different permission settings on the portal, and only the STC can change the user's role at any time. See below to understand the roles.
As a School Test Coordinator (STC), the responsibilities include:
Inviting STC(s) and Proctor(s) to access the ASLA Portal and manage their roles
Adding, updating, or deleting student records
Managing the School-wide Assessment Lock
Reviewing and managing Individual Score Reports (ISRs)
STCs can also serve as proctors
As a Proctor, the responsibilities include:
Maintaining the security of all assessment materials
Briefing students on assessment procedures
Actively monitoring the assessment on their proctor dashboard
Managing the locking and unlocking of individual or group assessments
Note: Proctors cannot add or change any of the system users.
Whether you are a new or returning school, always check the user rooster: add new users, remove those no longer attending, and verify or update users' roles as needed.
