Navigating the ASLA

• Set up the testing room so that students cannot view each other’s test items or screen

• Actively Monitor during the test to ensure students:

  • stay focused or are given a break if attention wanes

  • have access to a working device

  • do not cheat or receive help with answers

• Do remind the students of the subtest they’re on if needed

• Do not cue or answer any questions 

• Do not disclose any test content

Students should

• • work independently 

  • take their time

  • do their best to answer questions correctly so scores reflect what they know

Students should not:

• • look at another student's device/computer during testing

  • receive any help with answering questions

  • help other students answer questions

  • use any reference materials

  • disturb others during testing
