When students complete their assessments, the system begins calculating their scores, and your students’ ASLA Individual Score Reports (ISRs) will be available in your ASLA Administrator Reports Center. Scores are generated based on hundreds of thousands of data points and will take several minutes to complete. Scores are reported in PDFs, one per student. ASLA also bundles scores into “zip files” organized by teacher and age group and a bundle with all reports.
From the Administration menu, select Reports
After a student completes the full assessment, an ISR report is generated.
Click the PDF icon under ISR in the student's row to download the report.
Bundles group several ISRs together in a zip file whose directory folders are organized according to the selected group.
From the Administration menu, select Reports.
At the top, you can download score bundles
Select the bundle you want and click Download. Files are typically saved locally in a Downloads folder on your computer.
Note: the bundles include only completed and scored assessments. We recommend using bundles only after all assessments are complete.
Note: ISR links to individual or bundled files are delivered to the portal with a security feature that prevents access to the link after 20 minutes. If you’re getting an error message when downloading, refresh your browser – you may need to log in again. Once you have downloaded the ISR, there is no timeout feature and you may use whatever security steps you choose.
The ASLA Individual Student Report includes:
student name and demographic data
school name and year test was taken
population-referenced scores for each subtest
ASLA scores reference age group and parental status (Deaf or Hearing Parents)
Population-referenced scores are calculated by comparing each student’s results with those of all students in the database of the same age group and parental status.
